The builders moved in at the
beginning of the month and completed the foundations within 5 days.
They will be back on Monday 16th Oct to finish a few bits once the Gas
man has completed his task.

|
The Gas and Electric company will be
here on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th respectively to relocate our gas
and electricity boxes in order for us to carry on with the build. At
the moment both boxes are right in the middle of the extension.
|
|
|
The Joiners (chris and Dave) move in
on Wednesday 18th October to start work on the timber frame. The roof
trusses arrive on Monday 23rd, so by the end of that week we should
have the outer frame of the extension complete.

November
|
|
|
|
In the first couple of weeks the
joiners will be working on the inside of the extension, laying down
floors and putting up walls......they will also help the builders to
break through from the new dining room to the kitchen, creating our new
kitchen/diner.
|
|
Our extra kitchen cupboards etc are
being delivered on the 17th November, plus our new windows for both the
extension and existing house are being delivered the same week. The
boys are going to be busy.
|

|
Both these guys will be here near
the end of the month, plumbing and wiring the new part of our house.
They will already have been in before this to put down pipes and cable
before the joiners layed the floor and put up walls.

December

Finishing touches......I hope.
|
|
Allaris Kitchen fitters will be
arriving the week beginning 18th Dec to fit our new worktop. I am
hoping that this will be the last thing to do and after this we should
be finished. There may still be some decorating to do but our aim is to
be finished by Christmas...here's hoping.
